So what's all this about then?

I've been meaning to create a blog for years, but real life always takes over. As you will understand if you too are a full time worker with a family. It's easy to feel life is passing full of traffic jams, work problems, cups of coffee and the gentle buzzing of a humdrum life.

However, blessed with an ability to see the ridiculous in every situation there are many delights along the way. As a dyslexic*, with dyspraxia and born with the family chaos gene -there's always something going on.

I live on the coast in Sussex - a beautiful part of England. Sounds idyllic, yet somehow there always seems to be a metaphorical turd waiting to be stepped on. This creates situations that keep my internal dialogue busy for hours.

Interestingly in this first post - and why I suddenly have time to create my blog - we all share the same global problem. I'm currently not at work and my life is stranger than ever as I am self-isolating during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is with genuine emotion that I wish you and those important to you a safe and healthy passage through this strange time.

Whilst none of us know what the immediate future looks like, if I didn't make use of this time to do something I've wanted to do for ages I'd never forgive myself WHEN our lives go back to the new normal.

AND SO - All that remains is to welcome you to my world, to share what goes with the * next to dyslexia above and to let you know who took the photograph of the Rampion Windfarm (a problem for many locally, but something that gives me hope for the future). So until my next post......

*Dyslexia: with a tendency to misread with startling results - shame I wasn't blogging the day I drove past a sign for Snells Hatch in Crawley
