Well, what a difference a day makes. All action stations last night quite suddenly. Lots of calls set with work about the future of roles.
Turns out I'm going to be made redundant. Obviously disappointing as you will see from my earlier post, but at least I have some clarity at long last. Now I just need to find out what my redundancy package is as the results of that will determine my immediate future.
Very strange when you've been working for one company for so long to suddenly realise you'll never work for them again. Perhaps less strange if it hadn't been a totally odd year anyway.
I'm an optimist and I'm confident that things will work out and I'll do all that I can to make sure that's the case. At least my posts will be more purposeful and not about unknowns and uncertainties. At least my certainty IS uncertainty!
This blog is turning into a really interesting diary (for me anyway) about a very strange and changeable year.
I've never been a statistic before - that's a first!
