Lost my mojo and ready for la la land

I'm actually quite proud of how I've maintained motivation this year. I've done loads of different things both life cleaning and brain expanding. I've taken several courses to get new qualifications and I've worked flat out to get my new business moving along.

There are still loads of things I want to do for my business set up, bit it's not like real life - where you do a good job on something and then move to the next. The list is never ending. I've still not totally defined how I'm going to launch it in January.

But I've burnt myself out I think. I'm just going to do a few things this morning which will be difficult to do when son breaks up from school (tomorrow lunchtime). Then I think I'm going to have a guilt free break.

I always take Christmas fortnight off - whilst it's not going to be the same this year I think my brain needs that break and mentally is shutting down for it.

I want to spend the next fortnight baking mince pies, listening to Christmas Carols and generally being cheesy. Who knows what next year holds. It may be my last opportunity to do that. So that's what I'm going to do.

I haven't got much to report since my last post. Life has remained humdrum and locked down. The first class from sons school got sent home with a suspected case of COVID , but it didn't impact us. They've done a great job keeping the classes apart.

We did precisely nothing over the weekend. In fact I realised this morning I haven't left the house for 3 days. So once I've done a bit of video recording this morning that's what I'm going to do. Remind myself that there is life outside of my house. Who knows this may even kick start my mojo!

This is the dullest blog I've written in a while. Sorry about that. Just thought I should make communication about something.

Hope you like my picture of lala land. Actually it's Instow in North Devon - at one of the beaches where they practiced the D Day landings. Also, importantly, it's also home of 'Pooly' - where son has made himself a sandcastle swimmingpool and fortress ever year for the last 10 years.

Anyway, I shall be off to try to create something exciting to talk about.
