Yup I'm reusing a picture this week. A sure sign that I haven't left the house. Well I have walked across the road to deliver shopping to the lady we add shopping to our Tesco delivery for. (That was a terrible sentence). Anyway, apart from that I simply haven't left the house for a week.
Tomorrow is Saturday and I'm going to walk to the Butcher. Highlight of my week. I'm just so bored of all the walks around here I can't face it. Also with new job I'm starting early and then have half hour lunch so can finish early. It means that as my brain melts at 4.30 it's ok because I finish. It's great that I can have this flexibility, but there's never much you can achieve in a half hour lunch.
We didn't really get snow in the end, it settled enough for me to gather enough for a single snowball, which I put in a bowl and delivered to son as he home schooled. It was a real shame. Though we did do a family walk in snow - it didn't settle, but the fact it was actually snowing meant we made the effort. In fact for half an hour I was able to forget about COVID. Then we walked past a bus stop with COVID signs all over it and it brought us back to reality (boo).
I'm having one of THOSE mornings. Woke up feeling I could have slept for another 20 hours. I had a sleep crease on my face. Never a good thing - I've got to an age where that will stay with me until about 11.00. Must remember to keep camera off for any meetings this morning.
Also the pipes related to our washing machine have frozen. A couple of days ago I put a wash on and next thing you know the utility room floor was covered in water. This means that we're unable to do any washing until it warms up again (I may have to learn how to defrost pipes). I'm completely out of clean pants. Today I've got one of those mystery pairs on - you know the ones I mean - rediculously large - I have no memory of ever purchasing them but they are there and they are all I have.
At least I don't have to worry about going out and being hit by a bus and being discovered in my MASSIVE pants! Although I dare say it's not my pants that they'll be concentrating on should I get hit by a bus (that said, they are particularly massive).
Anyway, must start work so speak again soon. Oh and Happy Valentines - if you haven't got a significant other or you're not seeing them this weekend use it as a good excuse to eat chocolate!
