Sooo Hot

 I am being super lazy this week. Or a coward - up to you to decide.

Work got super stressful again and I was moments away from resigning. Don't get me wrong I love my job. It's just the expectations are continuously too high. The salary is terrible and it doesn't look like its getting better.

I took the job because it was helping people. But feeling like you are making a difference wears thin when you have a knot of stress in your stomach and the salary doesn't cover a full month's costs.

The people are amazing though. I spend my life teetering on the verge of resigning. So on Friday I sent an email to boss explaining stresses. It needed to be done or I would have walked, but I discover I am not ready to read the response. 

So this week I am typing on my mobile as I am avoiding my laptop!

The weather is super hot. Longest dry spell since 1976 they say. No hosepipe ban in my area yet but all areas around us have one. I give it a week.

2 medical things last week (neither a worry). I went to hygienist and to my horror my surgery has gone.private but keeps its nhs patients. In my past experience within a year nhs patients get treated like dirt and they try to screw money out of you. Watch this space.

I also went to get my knees x-rayed results back in tomorrow. Though there is a.4 year waiting list for knee operations so I am not holding my breath.

On Tuesday I went into the office. I drove for three hours and running out of petrol went to garage. Only to discover I had left purse at home. Gagh. 

I ended up setting up payment on mobile (whilst shrieking at poor husband who was trying to help me over the phone). I couldn't believe it when it worked. A huge relief! And sorry husband... love you.

Yesterday the boys went to watch jousting. I was.supposed to go too but didn't have the energy. I stayed home and enjoyed being lazy. Then a friend came over for supper. Lovely to see her its been  while.

Today mum and dad came for lunch. Dad has had a fall and looked a bit beaten up but otherwise they seem well.its always lovely to see them.

Only other thing in my life is that car boot is broken. Its refusing to shut. It's booked in on Thursday. Let's hope that nobody discovers they can easily get in before then. Though car is such a state I don't think anybody would risk a prison sentence to steal it.

It's proving to be an expensive month and there is a lot of the month still to go. Doom.
