OMG!

 

After an amusing (and I promise not unpleasant) conversation with team yesterday around 'no question is stupid', I found the meme with this post.

In fact it made me laugh so much I decided to WhatsApp it to husband - so I did.

About 10 minutes later my school 'old bag's network' sent an alert. I tend to stay on top of these because without the other school mums I'd never send son in wearing home clothes for charity, or with a stick of celery for HE or what other ridiculous last minute decision the school had made to keep parents on their toes.

What did I see...

A single post saying: ....?...

Looking at previous post to see what had caused said reaction - to my horror I discovered I'd (without explanation) sent the meme to the old bag network.

So the conversation went (obviously I've paraphrased...):

I was utterly mortified. I responded apologising and explaining was a mistake and deleted rapidly - but not before about 100 mothers had seen it and thought I was calling them an idiot.

I'm torn between laughing my head off about the situation and curling up in horror.

I guess this explains why I've never been welcomed in easily to the mum's club - and also why the few friends I have tend to not take life to seriously.

Thought to be fair - a lot of the mums sent me messages of support - so I'm not alone.
