After a great weekend, the week has started in a very frowzy way. I'm not sure if I'm ill or shattered. However, things continue as normal...
It's great being in my home office when son is on holiday. This morning at 09:30 he stood in the doorway having just woken up. Said morning in a frowzy way and then picked his nose and ate it!!!!!! There are not many lines I draw in the workplace - but that's one of them!
He'll never forgive me for posting that. I'll deal with the fallout at some point later.
The rest of the week was a long one, just felt shattered all week. But son is now feeling really ill and so I guess we are all fighting the same thing.
Went to Doctors on Friday and they took my blood pressure which is a teensy bit high and so I need to do a few more home tests. I'll start those next week. Also they had a look at my toe which has been causing problems for ages. I'm convinced it's not the friction lump they said last time. New doctor gave different diagnosis (nothing scary) so I'll be doing some home remedies on that as well - watch this space.
Weekend was extremely quiet - well as quiet as mine are. On Saturday I got up early and walked to butchers with dog, then came home and prepped supper for 6. After this I had a second sleep (ie. a 50 minute nap!). Then cleaned the house - yup cleaner didn't come again and then whizzed to the garden centre to replace the plants for the patio that all died over the very rainy winter.
Yup - that's a quiet Saturday for me.
Sunday was also quiet, I did manage a bit more sitting around. But also planted the plants I'd purchased on Saturday and then re creosoted the fence around the patio. So not a huge amount of activity there. Then after cooking supper I watched a bit of telly with lovely husband and went to bed early.
Woke this morning feeling like a new woman (wish I was). Let's see how long that lasts. Early start to whizz to doctor again so they could take some blood to check my thyroid.
Let's just say that life is not a ball of thrilling excitement at the moment. But sometimes that's good news.
