Not huge amounts to report this week.
This year I used AI to create my Christmas cards. Mainly because I have a friend obsessed with westies. I did 2 designs. Doubtless you'll see the other over the next couple of weeks.
So impressed by the printing company. Dirt cheap, my favourite. They got in touch to say the image wouldn't work with the card size I had chosen with recommendations for changes. Once agreed they turned up in 48 hours.
I was chuffed to bits with the output. On Saturday I sat down to write the cards. A task I hate. Half way through I spotted that the dog at the front has 2 tails. Hey ho!!!!!!
Parents and brother came for lunch on Sunday. I did a Sri Lankan curry. A favourite I hadn't done for yonks.
We had a bit of a car juggle because some idiot had parked opposite our drive. I had to wait until parents arrived to move my car so nobody pinched my space.
All went well..... once everybody had left we split up to deliver the local magazine. Son's job but as you know we all help.
Husband made way down drive reversing. Forgot car opposite drive and drove straight into it. Quite how he did that with all the sensors I will never know. But it happened. He left a note on the car. The car has gone but nobody has called. It's all a bit tense waiting to find out what will happen.
My heart breaks for husband and it also means son's insurance will go up when we get it for his new car. We'll of we put him on the insurance as well.
Only other thing is that I bumped into my friend that's been sailing around the world and has settled back at home. I think she is struggling with the mundainity of real life.
