It's happened. It's the first day at this end of the year that it's got to lunchtime and the air hasn't warmed up. It's freezing.
So that's it until next year I suspect.
My study window has officially been shut.
I can't help but be positive about this, just think I'm months away from writing an equally boring post explaining that it's the first day of the year where I've been able to open my window!!!!
I really hate working with the window shut, having the fresh air makes such a difference to the way my brain works. But at least I don't have to worry about wasps for a while (ahh there's the glass half full again - can't imagine why it irritates people).
The heating is still not on, but given that I'm sitting here in Jeans, bed socks, a micro-fleece and a chunky fleece and I'm still freezing, I fear it will not be long.
Now where did I put the fingerless gloves away at the end of the winter..............
